The L-shaped room is still a masterclass in monochrome. Matt black floor tiles. Black leather and rafia chairs. Table linen is crispy white and silver gleams as it's supposed to.  

It was buzzing with glamorous women in vertiginous heels and their adoring men folk. Le Caprice now offers a fantastic pre- and post-theatre menu of extraordinary value, so even the current vogue for belt-tightening need not put you off.  Recession? What recession? Here you can forget all about it for a while.
